Description

Are you looking for a short-term contract / temporary position? A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. This Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening.

Responsibilities

- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
- Help with internal and external audits as required
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
- Carry out a full-cycle A/P
- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
- Carry out additional projects as required
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

Requirements

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
- Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
