Obituaries

Charles "Charlie" Harrison Drake III, 65, returned to his heavenly home on Sunday after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at My Town Chapel with funeral services directly following. Interment will be held at My Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Memorial Hospital.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at MY TOWN FUNERAL HOME, 123 Park St, My Town, USA. Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel with interment at My Town Cemetery immediately following.

Elisa was born in Atlanta, GA in 1942 where she lived until age 18 when she married John Carrington and moved to Jacksonville, FL.

Gerald W. Grove, age 65, died yesterday at Princeton Memorial Hospital after a long battle with bone cancer.

Lieutenant-Colonel John "Jack" White, 91, died peacefully in his Bigtown home on Thursday. A veteran of World War II, he also commanded the 5th Battalion 10th Marines and was awarded the Purple Heart.
